According to Cointelegraph, Taiwanese tech company HTC has introduced a new no-code world and game-building application called 'Viverse Create' for its Viverse metaverse. This new tool allows users to create massively multiplayer experiences that are compatible across various devices, including virtual reality headsets, mobile phones, PCs, and Macs. This flexibility enables creators to build and share their virtual worlds on their preferred platforms.

HTC has been a pioneer in the virtual reality space, with its Vive headsets being highly regarded among consumers. The company's Viveport VR experience was one of the early attempts at creating a unified metaverse application. Viverse Create extends HTC's efforts into the creator and influencer markets, offering robust tools for no-code world development in the VR space. While it may not be used to develop AAA Web3 experiences, Viverse Create aims to bridge the gap between professional developers and those new to creating virtual worlds.

The application is designed to simplify the sharing of created experiences. Games and virtual spaces can be accessed on VR headsets, mobile devices, and computers without requiring installation, using a single, secure link. Andranik Aslanyan, head of growth at HTC Viverse, highlighted the ease-of-use and cross-platform capabilities of Viverse Create, stating that it allows creators to share their virtual worlds with anyone through a simple, secure link. Aslanyan also mentioned that the metaverse is not dead but is waiting for broader adoption.
