Are you shaping your own trading style yet? As for me, I've tried quite a few trading styles, typically like:
- Shorting at high ranges and then gradually DCAing as the price continues to rise or shorting at low price levels and continuing to DCA if the price keeps falling (for those with large capital), using low leverage, wide liquidation prices, holding positions.
- The second trading style is trading on a 15-minute timeframe and setting take profit and stop loss close, using high leverage, accumulating little by little.
- The third trading style I experimented with is hedging, taking long and short positions at the same price with equal trading volume.
After all these experiments, I ended up failing and losing money. The reasons revolve around things like moving stop losses, weak psychology unable to withstand the fluctuations when seeing the price go up and down, and for me, the feeling of waiting is like torture. I realize I need to find a trading style that doesn't require much waiting, doesn't need a lot of entries, and doesn't require guessing the tops and bottoms too much; perhaps that would suit me better. Now I won't always enter trades anymore, nor will I short the tops or long the bottoms; I will only wait for when the H1, H4, and D1 timeframes align in trend and the price action is clear, with strong momentum before entering a trade. The important thing is to patiently wait for such moments. Fellow traders, feel free to comment with any suggestions.
Is there anyone who often experiences this? When the price rises gradually, I wait for it to adjust to go Long, but it doesnāt adjust and keeps rising, then suddenly jumps up. When I finally go Long, the price adjusts again. And another thing is, when the price is low and I go Long with small volume, then when I see the price keep increasing, I go in with large volume and end up losing all profits and going into the negatives, right? Basically, when itās necessary to go in with large volume, and when it should be small volume, depending on the level of risk and opportunity.
I am thinking about whether to give up or not, I have already lost over 500 million on stocks and futures. My job has a relatively good income, but working to earn money and then pouring it into the trading platform makes me feel incredibly foolish. Should I go back to stocks now? I am really depressed. Is there anyone else in a similar situation? Please give me sincere advice. If I give up investing now, I will regret the money I have lost. But continuing also feels too hopeless.
Isn't it true that there is a recognition that every day we have to enter a trade, we must be in some kind of trade, right? Standing outside looking at the market is very restless, isn't it? Rushing in and entering at a bad point means we have to bear the loss, and we can't stand it, so we have to cut our losses. When we are in the red, we want to enter quickly to recover; it feels like a loop, hard to escape from, even though we know waiting for a good entry point or waiting for a potential trade is more important than entering a trade, but why does everyone know this yet very few can do it (for the most part)? Now, trying to get rich slowly, but actually, it's really trying to recover losses slowly.
Burning money again, sweat and effort, damn, bored, life isn't getting any better, don't understand why I got to know about coins and stocks. If I just kept working and saving, I'd be better off by now. So bored, guys, can't get any smarter, what should I do now??? I've lost too much already. Life looks so dull, I can't even have pity for myself anymore. Haizzzz

$ETH Realizing one thing is that setting a goal to earn $50 or $100 a day is foolish, forcing oneself to enter trades when the market has no clear trend is the same. Now I have to play smarter, enter when there are waves, and if there are no waves, just leave it, don't care, no more itching to trade.
$ETH The market today fluctuates unclear, down not much, long and short positions chaotic, lost 1 million 700k. The fault is the unbearable urge to trade.
$ETH why is holding onto profits so hard, playing like this when will we ever get better... Have you ever felt frustrated with yourself for not being able to hold onto profits? I feel so frustrated, many times already. Losing trades are also because I don't let profits run and just take small gains, it's not necessarily due to bad entries or anything, I'm so frustrated, how come so many people can hold onto gains of thousands % while I get scared of losing a few %? Entering a $6000 order and only making $28 feels so frustrating.
$ETH Hqua I lost, while the whole market is making money, I am suffering losses and cutting losses. There are many lessons that seemed to be learned by heart, but when caught up in the situation, my mind still freezes. Some people might feel smug looking at me, while others sympathize. Money is still the sweat and effort of my own, as I haven't borrowed from anyone, I feel guilty towards myself. I don't want to blame anything, just reflect on my mistakes and correct them. Congratulations to the traders who made money last night (I think there were many) š
