Ethereum whale completely sold $ETH after holding for 3 years, bringing in massive profits
Total profit for the whale is 130 million USD
The buying and selling process occurred as follows:
In September 2022, the whale withdrew 120,874 ETH from the Kraken exchange to hold, at that time ETH was priced at 1,645 USD/$ETH → Total value approximately 199 million USD.
From May 2024 to now, they have split this ETH and sold it 6 times on Kraken, with an average selling price of 2,732 USD/ETH.
Recently, they sold the remaining 30,874 $ETH , valued at approximately 77.7 million USD, completing the total profit-taking.

📌 After the success of the Pectra upgrade, Ethereum developers are focusing on the next upgrade named Fusaka, expected to be rolled out by the end of 2025.
📌 The focus of Fusaka is to propose improvements to PeerDAS (Peer Data Availability Sampling) – a mechanism that allows validators to only download a small portion of data from the "blob" instead of the entire thing, helping to reduce network load and optimize operational costs.
📌 The "blob" is a temporary off-chain storage space for Layer-2 transactions, introduced from EIP-4844. Increasing the blob limit will support Layer-2 solutions like Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base to operate more efficiently.
📌 Fusaka also includes many other improvements aimed at enhancing the scalability and overall performance of the Ethereum network.
