If the project isn’t part of the AI, RWA, DePIN, ZK, or modular ecosystem, I skip it. Narrative matters.
Check the market cap.
Under $50M? That’s early and promising. Over $500M? Probably too late for significant upside.
Research the team and backers.
Who’s behind the project? Are reputable VCs involved? Backing from Binance Labs or a16z is a strong signal.
Analyze tokenomics.
I look at lockup periods, upcoming unlocks, and inflation rate. Poor tokenomics? I’m out.
Evaluate the community.
Are real users engaged, or is it mostly bots? I check Discord, X, and Telegram. If the community is dead, so is the project.
Always read the whitepaper.
Yes, even if it’s dry. I want to understand the long-term vision before investing.
