100K TPS and 0.6s finality and blocks is coming this year with SuperNova. Reduce latency while doubling down on decentralisation and the permissionless nature of DLT.
Research is ongoing for a multi-dimensional fee markets, which is meant to bring more fees to the validators, better market alignment, better dApps alignment. But as everything on a proper DLT, it will be debated, proposed, discussed and researched together with the community, with the developers, with the validators, with the stakers.
