I've been in this market for 8 years now. At first, I thought long and short would yield more profits. But that was with small capital. Trading based on emotions, as long as there are gains.
- But over time, I realized that the right path is to only go long / not short.
And I want you all to do the same. Go long, don't short.
I'm not forbidding you from shorting. Because the money is yours. I don't have that authority.
But now, with small capital, if you are addicted and used to long/short, later with larger capital and accounts, you won't be able to manage. The market is very harsh. It's not like fluctuating a few prices is just 1-2$ .
In a large account, a short can swing 50-60k$ , at that moment your psychology will forever lose.
📌Long and short are very harmful if using both strategies.
- It affects the psychological judgment of the market
- Always in a state of taking profits quickly. Closing trades and running.
- If losing, you will burn out your account
- Always haunted and influenced by someone else; if they say short, you will immediately fluctuate and jump into shorting
- Very difficult to manage capital.

I know what is beneficial and what is harmful.
I myself also have to learn and learn a lot.
