FUTURES TRADING TIPS by @novialanis

Disclaimer on: this is purely my personal opinion, and I hope these tips can help. Always Do Yourself On Research and this post is Not Financial Advice.

First, trading psychology
Please, Futures Trading does not make us immediately profitable. Don't have a gambling mentality by using maximum margin and leverage, because it can cause our assets to be completely liquidated (liquidated/exhausted).

Second, technical analysis
Even though technical analysis does not guarantee that we will make a profit or not lose money, it can increase confidence in the win rate percentage. There is always a basis and reason for us to open a position when using analysis, not just guessing the price and direction of the candle.

Third, use a timeframe according to your trading goals
If you want to trade briefly, just use the 15-20-60 minute timeframe.
If you want to trade on a swing/daily basis, use a timer frame of 4 hours-8 hours-up to 1 day.
So, if you trade long term, you can use a 1 week-month time frame.

Fourth, use leverage wisely
Leverage is a buying/selling leverage facility in calculating trading margin. On Binance, leverage options are available from x1-x125 (depending on coin type). The greater the leverage, the greater the size of the open position, the faster the profit, of course the faster the risk of a margin call (liquidation) is reached. The opposite applies, yes. So, it's better to be wise and set the maximum risk of loss that you dare to bear.

An Impressive Trading Journey With Binance

I got to know Binance at the end of 2021, during the transition from bull to bear market. I really felt the plunge from BTC $69K to $15K, and my altcoin collection was almost wiped out. However, that didn't make me give up, and I continued trading on Binance.

Trying to recover by starting spot trading accumulation in 2022, thankfully the P2P feature is very easy to use.
Eh, my fault, trying 'Futures Trading' in 2023. With minimal experience, poor technical analysis, I was slammed by the market in this sideways phase. Create unforgettable lessons, and make yourself less greedy & able to control your emotions.

In the recovery phase or when I'm on a trading holiday, I'm also actively working on tasks from Binance. Such as joining the launchpad & launchpool (even though the capital is not yet large), participating in Megadrop, Airdrop WEB3, WOTD, and even Binance Indonesia community events. Also, the WEB3 Wallet feature provided by Binance really helped me in working on Airdrop, plus the User Interface and User Experience are smooth and don't lag.

Until 2024, this will make me a trader who is starting to mature. With my 2 years of learning about crypto, plus the phases and narrative of the bullrun that is predicted to be around the corner. Plus news factors such as Bitcoin Halving, Bitcoin Spot ETF $BTC , Ethereum Spot ETF $ETH. I am increasingly determined to hold crypto assets, at least until 2025.

Of course, the trading decisions I choose are based on my own research, and I am responsible & ready to accept even when I experience a loss in trading. And the importance of choosing a safe trading and crypto storage platform, especially now that Binance has the WEB3 Wallet feature. Not Financial Advice (NFA) and Do You Own Risk (DYOR).
