When every application in your ecosystem is built from the same three pieces of infrastructure you get a world full of forks
Why is Neutron different?
We've built a foundation around novel DeFi outcomes by removing the boundaries that surround innovative ideas
Neutron builders and users "can just do things" that no one has ever done before:
• @mars_protocol enables LST collateral to trade on-chain perps • @dropdotmoney provides one-click liquid staking across chains • Supervaults is re-defining what it means to LP on-chain
...and that's just a taste. All of this (and so much more) is made possible when an ecosystem and the applications built within it narrow focus to one common goal
For us, that goal is becoming the greatest DeFi platform the world has ever seen
Sit back and relax... you've only had the appetizer
The Neutron DAO recently ratified a policy for validator onboarding and rotation. This policy can evolve based on feedback on the forum.

Overview of the policy ⤵️
• Neutron optimizes for validator performance to enable powerful DeFi apps and infrastructure, such as its high-frequency built-in oracle
• To join the Neutron validator set and receive $NTRN delegations from the DAO, validators must run both mainnet and testnet nodes
• Eligible operators are prioritized for admittance to the active set based on voting power (highest voting power first)
• Validators are considered for offboarding based on performance and/or downtime – in both cases, validators are notified on the first occurrence, and marked for rotation on the second
There are currently two spots open in Neutron's active validator set ✌️
Validators interested in joining the set, including those below, are encouraged to seek delegations from NTRN holders by adding value to the network:
