There's a @CoinbaseDev x402 and AgentKit hackathon going on right now. Here are 9 project ideas that I think could win you thousands of dollars for a week of work🏆

1. MCP Monetization template -- build out a way to easily monetize any MCP Server using x402

2. Bounty hunter/creator - agent finds bounties online and completes them (or creates them when it can't solve a specific task for you)

3. One-Off Code Review Marketplace – extension lets any dev highlight a block (or agent highlight a section of code), click “Review with Expert for $5,” and an external expert is paid automatically.

4. Real-time fact checker for journalists – highlight a claim, find supporting sources, and pay for the page it cites and searches

5. Pay-As-You-Learn Tutor - every executed command explanation costs 1 cent; at session end you get an itemized bill.

6. Wealth manager with internet access - Scrape the web, get info, and use that info to trade on a user's behalf

7. Monetize your existing endpoints via x402 - if it does something cool this could legitimately win!

8. Paying for a real-world good or service via x402

9. AgentKit action provider for interacting with x402

Congrats to @PythNetwork's price feeds for being the most-used action in AgentKit with ~7.5k calls in the past couple of weeks alone

Why is this?
1. Great product ("whats the price of BTC" --> result)
2. No API keys = seamless integration

x402 helps your API achieve the same

IMO this is the most interesting part of the GENIUS ACT

Gating stablecoin issuance = less liquidity fragmentation and more composability, ultimately increasing ease of adoption

I assumed every consumer app with communication or networks would make their own stablecoin given how amazing of a business it is

Watching my parents only use AI when Google sneaks it into search makes me think crypto won't go mainstream until its literally invisible and integrated into our existing flows
