The only reason to buy a memecoin is ultimately to trade it, in the hope of making a profit.

You can say you get to be “part of a community”, but it’s still reliant on other people investing in the hopes of cashing out higher.

With utility plays, the tokens MUST be bought for a use in a project. This is true PvE. No longer are you competing against other traders.

The problem is that so far, there have only been a handful of quality utility projects where the token needs to actually be bought for the project to work.

This is the next logical step in the market, after the recent shitshows we've seen.

However, one key reason for this is that there are pretty much zero solid bets on Solana right now, because every "builder" has focused on developing garbage.

Memes explicitly have no intrinsic value & are fine to speculate on but when shit hits the fan in the market (as we are seeing now) - they will revert to stables.

Can somebody tell me where the next buy for Popcat or WIF is coming from? No.

The market is CRYING out for something solid, this will be the next leg of the bull cycle.
