Here's the story of a guy who lost over $1 million last year after going 3x long on PEPE.

I Just Lost Everything Overnight

I woke up today to a nightmare—my entire position got liquidated.
I was 3x long on PEPE.

It’s all gone.

From having over $1 million on Binance to now not even $1,000 in my bank account.

I’ve been in crypto since 2017. Built everything through careful SPOT plays. And just like that—wiped out, all because of one leveraged bet.

The irony? I’ve always known the dangers of leverage.
Back in 2018, after losing a few hundred dollars on BitMEX, I made a promise:
No margin. No leverage. Never trade with money you don’t have.

Because the truth is—you don’t need leverage in crypto.
Altcoins are already a 10x leveraged bet on Bitcoin.

And yet, here I am. I broke my own rule.
Worse—I knew it was wrong the moment I entered the trade. But I let it ride anyway.

What happened wasn’t just a mistake. It was a blunder.
A painful, costly, and shameful one.

It hurts deeply. Not just the money, but the weight of knowing I betrayed my own discipline.

I don’t know how long it’ll take, but I hope one day I can rebuild.
This lesson came at the highest price. But maybe, just maybe, it will save me from future ruin.
