We just announced PostParams at @artblocks_io, enabling on-chain art that can evolve over time.
@dotjiwa will debut the tech wih the DDUST collection launching July 8th in a partnership with @OpenSea
With PostParams your NFT isn't locked forever after mint. Artists can evolve collections, collectors can customize their pieces, all with full blockchain provenance.
DDUST shows what's possible:
- 32 color palettes from Jiwa's Marfa residency photos, choose the memory that resonates
- Rare dust storms sweep across pieces using live Ethereum data
- Artist can surprise the collection with updates over time
Each customization gets written to blockchain. Your piece's evolution becomes part of its permanent story.
Artists love it because they can maintain relationships with collectors long after mint. Collectors love it because their pieces become more personal over time.
