I've been unemployed for four years. Last night, after having barbecue with my wife, I reflected on these four years.

In May 2021, I clearly remember that I was in a homestay in Lijiang. I gathered the courage to call our director and deputy director to resign. Both leaders were quite surprised and urged me to reconsider.

After traveling around Lijiang, Dali, and Lugu Lake, I returned to my workplace and had in-depth discussions with my supervisor and several deputy supervisors. I still insisted on resigning and submitted my resignation letter.

Later, the bureau office notified me that my resignation letter would not be submitted to the organization department for the time being and gave me three more months to think it over. If I still insisted after three months, I could proceed with the resignation process.

Thus, those few months in mid-2021 became the most comfortable months for me, where I received a salary while traveling around and had fun trading small pictures.

As for what happened later, many people already know. After the small picture business failed, I lost all the millions I made during the bull market and was left with a pile of online debt. Then, at the beginning of 2023, through airdrops from projects like ARB and Blur, along with a few other cryptocurrencies I can't remember, I managed to almost clear my debts. By early 2024, I also made a good amount from airdrops on Ordi and Stark, and life seemed to return to normal.

During these four years of not working, my spending level has increased significantly compared to when I was employed, and my overall quality of life should be considered improved. Almost every year, my wife and I go on a long trip, along with multiple short trips; every week, it’s either hot pot or on the way to hot pot; in the cat room, various snacks and drinks have never stopped, and our cat at home has been raised like it's been pregnant for ten months, chubby and fluffy.

Of course, the biggest difference is still my mental state. Before, working felt like being a walking corpse. Now, I’m grooming myself for my own goals, doing what I want to do, rather than selling my time for a stable salary.

Last night, my former boss called me. It was clear he was at a dinner party using me as a topic of conversation, casually asking about my current situation. I told him I was fully invested in the blockchain industry. He hesitated for a moment, probably not understanding what blockchain is, and I realized I had completely lost common ground with my previous circle.

Today is the last day of the holiday, and I plan to take my wife out for a stroll. She loves to eat, so I’ll accompany her in eating and strolling. These past few days, I feel like I’ve been a bit lax in grooming myself, and I’ll start again tomorrow.

After a busy morning, I finally finished registering the @hyperlane address.

I chose to receive on Layer 2 such as arb base. Only after completing the registration did I realize that transferring to exchanges on these networks now takes about half an hour. If you haven't registered yet, I recommend choosing the mainnet. The gas fees on the mainnet are also low right now, so if there's a chance to sell on exchanges later, you can be one step ahead.

Don't ask me about single numbers or multiple numbers

Playing contracts takes time; after a whole day, I've just been watching the market and haven't done anything. Managing the backpack also requires good time management.

The badge quest for soneium is about to end, and it feels like not many people participated in this badge odyssey; I only completed a few accounts myself.

Now, for soneium, there has been an OG badge airdrop, a round of ecological badges, a galaxy mission, and incentive activities for individual projects. So how can we play next?

I don't know if there will be a token release, but it feels like the current state is not a prelude to a token release.
