đś MASAK (Financial Crimes Investigation Board) published a new regulation on June 28, 2025: General CommuniquĂŠ No. 29 directly concerns cryptocurrency exchanges in Turkey and us investors
đś The main purpose is to prevent crimes such as money laundering and terrorist financing
- If we consider it under small headings
đś For New Accounts: A 72-hour waiting period is required for you to make your first crypto withdrawal. This period applies to both existing balances and new investments
đś After the First Transaction: Once the first transfer is completed, the waiting period for subsequent withdrawals is reduced to 48 hours
đś If you have made a new investment: Every new balance you send to your wallet or obtain through buying and selling on the platform is subject to a waiting period again
đś TL deposit and withdrawal transactions are outside of this system. Turkish Lira transactions continue to operate in the same way
đś No waiting is applied to transfers made to wallets with ID matches.
