✅ Use hardware wallets for storing large amounts ✅ Write down your seed phrase — never store it digitally ✅ Use two-factor authentication (2FA) — via app, not SMS ✅ Keep software and devices up to date ✅ Double-check URLs before connecting to any wallet or site ✅ Avoid discussing your holdings publicly ✅ Regularly check for fake apps or wallet impersonators
Who charges it? The blockchain network (not the exchange) Why? Paid to validators/miners for confirming transactions
Example: On Ethereum, this is called gas On Bitcoin, it's just a network fee
b. Exchange Fees c. Wallet Fees Most non-custodial wallets (like MetaMask) don't charge fees themselves, but: You’ll still pay network fees when sending crypto Some wallets add a markup to swaps or token purchases
📉 4. How to Reduce Crypto Fees ✅ Use Layer 2s like Arbitrum or Optimism (for Ethereum users) ✅ Choose low-fee blockchains like Solana, Avalanche, or Polygon ✅ Use limit orders on exchanges to qualify for maker fees ✅ Swap during low network activity (nights/weekends) ✅ Consolidate transactions (e.g., send once instead of multiple small ones)
❗️ 5. Hidden or Additional Costs to Watch For Bridging fees (moving tokens between chains) Slippage in swaps (you receive less due to price movement) Service fees in DEX aggregators or wallet swaps (e.g., MetaMask or 1inch)

Circle, the issuer of USDC and EURC, has taken significant steps to align its operations with MiCA's requirements. This is why you often hear USDC cited as an example of a compliant stablecoin.

The choice between a CEX and a DEX depends on your priorities:
Use a CEX if: You are a beginner, prioritize ease of use, need to convert fiat to crypto, value customer support, or trade large volumes of popular assets. Use a DEX if: You prioritize self-custody and control over your assets, value privacy, want access to new or niche tokens, or want to participate deeply in the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem.
Many experienced crypto users actually use a hybrid approach, using a CEX for fiat on-ramps and large-cap trades, and a DEX for exploring new tokens and participating in DeFi.

#TRUMP Donald Trump decided that something was sad on Friday and advised to impose a 50% tariff on goods from the EU and also add 25% on Apple because he does not want to move production to the USA. And immediately everyone became cheerful. And the old foolish grandfather probably already flew off to play golf, he does not care about anything.
#BinancePizza The $670 Million Pizza: Bitcoin's Most Expensive Meal Back in 2010, when Bitcoin was just a little-known digital experiment worth mere pennies, a Florida programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz was hungry for pizza. Laszlo had been mining Bitcoin as a hobby on his computer, accumulating a decent stash of this new "internet money" that few people took seriously. Eager to prove Bitcoin could actually be used to buy something real, he posted a proposition on a Bitcoin forum on May 18, 2010: "I'll pay 10,000 bitcoins for a couple of pizzas... like maybe 2 large ones." At the time, those 10,000 bitcoins were worth roughly $41 in total. A British man took up the offer, ordering two large Papa John's pizzas for delivery to Laszlo's house. The transaction was completed on May 22, making history as the first real-world purchase using Bitcoin. Two delicious pizzas. Ten thousand bitcoins. A perfectly reasonable trade in 2010. Fast forward to today, and those same 10,000 bitcoins would be worth over $670 million. Laszlo doesn't seem to have any regrets, though. In interviews, he's mentioned that he made more Bitcoin transactions after that and is just happy to have been part of Bitcoin's early history. "It wasn't like bitcoins had any value back then, so the idea of trading them for a pizza was incredibly cool," he once explained. The date of the purchase, May 22, is now celebrated in crypto circles as "Bitcoin Pizza Day" - a humorous reminder of how far cryptocurrency has come and perhaps the most expensive meal in human history. The next time you order a pizza, just remember: no matter how much you paid, Laszlo probably has you beat.
