Risk Management is definitely the most important & necessary topic out there when it comes to tradingThat's why I started the series “Blueprint to Become a Successful Trader” with this topic.I'll explain How can you trade and manage your risk perfectly in this market Well first of all your position sizing matters the most when it comes to risk management, many of you might have small capitals so you decide to put it all or more than 50% in a single trade, that's where you do do your biggest mistake, Always remember NEVER PUT ALL YOUR EGGS IN A SINGLE BASKET.You should never expose more than 2% in a single trade, if you have really small capital then also hardly 5% definitely not more than that.How does it help you ? For example if you have 1000$ You took 3 trades using 20$ each and you used 10x leverage then if the price drops 10% you still have the chance to average it down you may put another 20$ for 3 trades.Still you've only used 12% of your capital and you have another 88% capital to protect your trade and take benifits from other trade opportunities available out there.Secondly you manage your risk by maintaining risk reward, Always try to go for high risk reward trades and you're in crypto market, trust me getting 3:1-4:1 or more Risk reward trades are pretty easy here so try to go for those.How does it Risk Reward Ratio help you ?For example there's two traders, Trader A & Trader B ,Let's assume they both took 10 trades and they got only 5 wins.Trader A doesn't really care for risk reward much and he goes for 1:1 trades so at the end he won 5 and lost 5 and net is 0 profit And Trader B read my article so he knows about risk reward and only goes for atleast 3:1 trades, so he won 5 × 3 each time = 15 and lost only 5 , so net profit for B is 15-5 = 10Third is your leverage, trust me control your greed, try to not go for more than 10× ( max 20× ) if you really want to be a successful trader.Why ? Let's get this one with the calculations, if you take 10× leverage your position get liquidated if your trade goes 10% against you and if you take 100× you get liquidated for 1% move, so why taking such risk ?
