Just started staking on the Acala Network, and I'm genuinely impressed by how simple and rewarding the process is.
I initially staked 1000 $ACA and have already earned 45.55 ACA in rewards — all thanks to an APY of 36.3%. That got me thinking: what if I scale this?
Staking 1000 $ACA under the same conditions would yield approximately 45.55 ACA in rewards over the same period. Not bad for passive income in a bear-to-bull transition market.
What I love about Acala:
Clean, intuitive dashboard
Transparent earnings
New features coming soon (LP & liquid staking)
Built on the Polkadot ecosystem
As someone exploring the future of DeFi and Web3, this is the kind of user experience that inspires confidence. If you're looking into staking or experimenting with new DeFi platforms, Acala is worth checking out.
I recently went through the process of unstaking my DOT and ACA tokens via the Acala dApp—and hit a few unexpected snags.
Unstaked DOT didn’t show up in my wallet.
ACA tokens appeared “available” on Acala, but “locked” in Talisman.
After reaching out to Acala support (who were incredibly helpful), here’s what I learned:
✅ When unstaking on Acala, you need to manually claim your tokens after the unbonding period ends. ✅ DOT needs to be bridged to the Polkadot relay chain before sending to an exchange. ✅ ACA can often be sent directly to supported exchanges—no bridging required. ✅ Talisman Wallet is a great alternative to Polkadot.js if you're looking for a better UX.
In the end, everything was resolved—and I learned a lot about the flow between Acala, wallets, and the Polkadot ecosystem.
The 3rd trading competition on the @AcalaNetwork chain just wrapped up... 61,250 $ACA in rewards handed out! Really cool to see how active the community was throughout. Looking forward to whatever they’ve got coming next. @fufuture_io
