RFRV Batch 3 is now live, incorporating recent improvements to governance guidelines. The full 5-member Governance Guardian council is announced, and will ratify reward vaults moving forward.
The next set of Reward Vaults will be finalized and activated on Monday, April 14th. This will ensure that teams have ample time to meet newer requirements around liquidity, distribution of tokenholders, pool shares, as highlighted in our latest governance blog post (https://t.co/kbOwXdn3wX)
In the interim, teams will receive recommendations and feedback on the forums from members of the Bera ecosystem team. The majority of dialogue will be presented in a public forum, such that members of the Berachain community may engage at their convenience.
This will conclude with a decision from the @bgtfdn on Monday, either indicating that an RFRV application has been accepted, rejected (with feedback), or is under review, in the case of a large volume of applications requiring more diligence.

PoL has been live for 2 weeks, which has provided the BGT Foundation overseeing governance with many useful data points about the system's practical capabilities, from both community input and empirical data.
Armed with this information, a number of changes will be made to RFRV guidelines, and the evaluation process in order to:
a) Effectively communicate the goals of PoL, and what makes a good RFRV proposal b) Increase due diligence on tokenholder ownership & decentralization, protocol PMF, security etc c) Improve data collection and representation for reward vault frontends (metadata etc) d) Prioritize and emphasize the use of BERA within reward vaults
With the above in mind, there will be no new reward vaults whitelisted this week as processes are refined, and updated guidelines are published later in the week.
The next round of reward vaults will be announced on Friday, April 11th and whitelisted on Monday, April 14th.
Future updates will also feature a variety of product improvements around reward vaults, incentive claims, and more.
PoL Phase 1 begins on Monday and the first whitelisted reward vaults have been approved. Full list and what's next at: https://blog.berachain.com/blog/berachain-governance-phase-1-first-whitelisted-reward-vaults-approved
