I learned that NOT all wallets are the same. Here’s the basics to avoid making a mistake:

🔵 **HOT Wallets** (connected to the internet):
- **Without keys**: Like Binance or Coinbase. *Advantage*: Easy. *Risk*: If the exchange goes bankrupt or gets hacked, goodbye cryptos! 💸
- **With keys** (Trust Wallet, MetaMask): You control the keys, but if you lose them or get hacked, there’s no recovery.

⚪ **COLD Wallets** (USB like Ledger/Trezor):
- Advantage: 100% yours (offline). Risk: If the USB gets damaged and you forget your seed phrase, you lose everything. (Don’t buy on Marketplace! They might be hacked).
