The number one MOST important thing to keep in mind when designing tokenomics.

Keep it fucking simple.

If the token is a product, the user is your holder. The UX is deterimened by your tokenomics. UX should be simple and intuitive.

Most tokenomics are needlessly complicated. Many steps can be skipped to achieve the same goals.

Any teams with purposely overcomplicated tokenomics are just hoping you are too dumb to realise you're getting cucked until its too late.

If you don't understand where the yield comes from, you are the yield.
