SOON is almost certain to be the first coin to be issued in SVM L2. The first coin to be issued in a track often means unlimited imagination and a bigger bubble, which is something to look forward to. And Soon’s community share is still very large, and we are already looking forward to next week. @soon_svm is as straightforward as the name!

Lagrange is progressing very fast. It is a narrative that integrates the generation, verification, distribution, and communication of zk proofs. If the progress is fast, it may be released in Q3 this year. I hope that my previous money will not be wasted by then.

Mentioning @AvailProject, although its price has been sluggish, and it's been a tough situation! But that doesn't change the fact that Avail is one of my more important staking projects this year, and I'm still gradually squeezing out money to buy the dip. The main reason for staking is its Polygon background and the fact that it was co-founded by them, and Polygon's plonky2/3 proof system has a profound impact on zk, as early RiscZero and Succinct seem to be based on this proof system. To be fair, if that's the case, staking POL might yield better results, but since it's a project spun off from Polygon, I just equate it directly, and it has a better cost-effectiveness. Of course, these two zkVMs are just possibilities, and the focus is on it being a da layer project, particularly Lens. I still feel that Avail's price is underestimated. I believe that projects created by Polygon co-founders should not be like this. I have relatively high expectations for the projects made by the Indian team. You can say Indians are frugal, but you can't say that their attitude and technology towards projects are poor. Plus, @foundersfund has also invested. Avail is the first shout this year! I’m more anxious about the drop than you all!!!

I absolutely will not participate in any staking projects this year, locked tightly with karak and symbiotic, unable to exert any strength 🤬

"Smart" people started to buy the dip in Avail to stake it😭

My view on AI agents is that a16z personally entered the field to create a narrative and inflate a bubble, which is then left to the market to continue the FOMO and grow larger. Isn’t the essence of this narrative still about issuing tokens? It's just that now it's about issuing them for AI, shifting from seeking rights protection after losses to seeking it from AI after losses. I haven't seen how impressive it is to issue tweets through layered APIs. But I also play along with the bubble, yet to describe this as something mystical feels a bit excessive, but when the prices rise, there is indeed great scholars debating the issue.

At the end of the month, let's summarize the progress I have followed regarding zkVM and zk Coprocessor. zkVM @RiscZero: Launched zkVM1.2, and @boundless_xyz is likely the focus of RiscZero at this stage. @SuccinctLabs: Released a white paper at the beginning of the month and secured @0xMantle, a heavyweight L2, continuing to expand. @argumentxyz: No updates, I remember applying for the entry of RootData this month, not sure if it has been recorded. @0xLita: Still updating their Valida zkVM, it is estimated that there is still some distance to application. @powdr_labs: Looking to take a different path with zig? It seems they want to make a push for Beam chain. @NexusLabs: Completed their testnet, feeling like they want to showcase their BD capabilities now. @axiom_xyz: Launched OpenVM, intending to transition from zk Coprocessor to zkVM. zk Coprocessor @lagrangedev: Officially launched their own proof network, soon to be able to generate zk proofs for Rollup. @thezkcloud: Underwent a brand upgrade and also launched their Firestarter proof network. @brevis_zk: Announced collaboration with @ThenaFi_ and @MendiFinance. In the future, @SpaceandTimeDB has been added as a new zk Coprocessor, I just noticed they also do Coprocessor along with @zerobasezk. Although @cysic_xyz is also a Coprocessor, I haven't followed up much, so I won't write about it.

I looked at the zerobase documentation and it seems like the concept of zk Coprocessor. An APR of 45% is indeed tempting, but I have already been drained completely, with not a drop left.

Next, if Soon's L2 also wants to use celestia for da, then both major representatives of SVM are not using blob but rather third-party da. After Cancun, I felt that third-party da was becoming marginalized and dispensable, but now with the rise of altVM, various VMs are likely to leverage third-party da to challenge EVM, while paying less tax to Ethereum, a give-and-take situation...... Ethereum, rise up!!!

I took a look at the documentation of boundless, and what I understand is that it abstracts a layer on top of RiscZero's zkVM and builds a proof market, but the core still remains RiscZero's zkVM. It seems that RiscZero wants to completely step back and focus on technology, while all market-related aspects are handled by boundless. From what I see in the documentation, RiscZero has essentially given all its technology directly to boundless. In the future, existing projects like eclipse, taiko, and upcoming ones like union and Citrea are likely to turn towards boundless; they probably won't directly use RiscZero's zkVM. Here, I can't help but criticize eclipse; the so-called adoption of zk proofs ultimately still leads to hybrid proofs, and the batch will likely pass through the Op proof stage, making it very difficult to reach the zk proof stage for challenges. Not to mention that taiko and Automata are both using two zkVMs to share that little bit of zk proof. Currently, the vast majority of Rollups claiming to adopt zk proofs are like this; I feel that those claiming to adopt zk proofs are more about hype. Here, I have to envy the brothers who previously applied for nodes and got selected; you guys are probably going to be in for a tough time.
