I have always wanted to record my investment experience and learn about investment through writing, so that I can improve my knowledge and hold on to the big pie.
I heard about Bitcoin in 2017 and bought a small amount of Bitcoin in January 2018. At that time, one Bitcoin cost more than 70,000 RMB. After graduating in June 2018, I worked in the blockchain industry. Later, the bear market came and this operations job ended in 5 months.
In 2019, I found a blockchain operations job, but I quit not long after starting and went into the traditional industry to work as a bricklayer.
What’s funny is that during my career, I never studied Bitcoin in depth, but was obsessed with the then popular XX altcoins, and foolishly invested in them, ignoring the configuration of Bitcoin.
Fortunately, I joined a writing community at that time, organized an online blockchain sharing event, and invested regularly with interested classmates in the class. It started in 2018. I interrupted it once, but then continued to invest until the end of September 2023.
After leaving the blockchain industry, I didn’t pay much attention to it anymore.
This time, I got to know more deeply that the price of Bitcoin had exceeded 70,000 US dollars. I was shocked. How could the price be so high?
So I started to learn about Da Bing while taking care of my kids, and then I started to read Da Bing’s white paper. Although I didn’t understand it, it took me 7 years from the time I learned about Da Bing to the time I read its white paper.
I have missed so much. If I had the knowledge I have now, I would have stockpiled more pie. However, time cannot be reversed, but it is not too late now. I need to continue learning and improving my knowledge in order to hold on to it.
