Rockstar Games, the developer of Grand Theft Auto, prohibits developers from integrating cryptocurrencies or crypto-assets such as NFTs on GTA servers.

In July, Minecraft developer Mojang Studios banned the use of NFTs on its servers. Valve, which operates the games store Steam, has said it does not want NFTs on its platform. Valve rival Epic Games has been more neutral. Fortnite developers have allowed several games using NFTs to come to the Epic Games store.
