A brief introduction of Jasmine X4-Q
Hashrate: 1040M
Power consumption: 480w/370w
Video memory: 5G
Algorithm: ETCHASH
Noise: 40 decibels
Weight: 12kg
Form Factor: 3U
Machine size: 430x350x132(mm)
So what are the differences in parameters between it and Jasmine X16-Q?
X16-Q is 1950M 620w, the power consumption ratio is 0.32J/M, while Jasmine X4-Q is 0.46J/M
X16-Q has 8G memory, and ETC is expected to be mined until 2039. X4-Q has 5G memory, and ETC is expected to be mined until 2029
In terms of the currencies that can be mined, X16-Q and X4-Q can mine small currencies besides ETC, such as XPB, OCTA, CAU, BTN, DOGETHER, AVS, etc. You can check the income or other information of small currencies in the GT pool, and all kinds of information are clear at a glance. However, in addition to the above currencies, X16-Q can also mine + ZIL dual mining, while X4-Q can only mine the above currencies alone. Taking ETC as an example, according to today's currency price, the difference in income between single mining and dual mining is about 20%.
In terms of noise, there is almost no difference between X16 and X4. Both are the quietest models on the market and can be placed in the bedroom without affecting rest.
The appearance of the two machines is roughly the same, both are 3U server form factors.
But why is X4-Q perhaps the most cost-effective choice? Because the market price of X16-Q is around 24,000 today, and the factory is expected to have no production capacity in May and June. X4-Q only costs 8,500/unit and can be shipped in about a week. The funds for one X16-Q can buy almost 3 X4-Q. Although the video memory is only 5G, it is currently sufficient to mine ETC and other small coins to cope with a bull market. Instead of choosing the long delivery cycle of X16-Q, it is better to enter the market early and invest the same funds to buy greater computing power. This is the best choice.
