*Solana expanding in Brazil*
The Solana Foundation announced an investment of R$50 million to expand its operations in Brazil. The project, called “Superteam Brasil”, aims to create opportunities for learning, practice and work on the Solana network. This expansion also marks Solana's official presence in South America, in addition to Mexico. Brazil is a strategic market for Solana in 2024, especially in the areas of tokenization, art and artificial intelligence. The initiative strengthens the cryptocurrency ecosystem in the region and recognizes its global importance. Furthermore, recently, Brazilian projects stood out at Solana's Global Hyperdrive Hackathon. Firethree came fourth in the “Infrastructure” category, MedeLeite combines milk meters with blockchain, and Kyōdō Protocol facilitates connections between professionals and companies. These successes demonstrate Brazil's potential in the crypto revolution. Solana also plans to invest R$5 million in Brazilian developers through hackathons, further boosting the local ecosystem.
