• Claude AI chatbot from Anthropic has learned to process requests 2 times more than ChatGPT

Anthropic's AI Claude is a language model with capabilities similar to ChatGPT

You're almost certainly aware of the impressive GPT-4 language model that powers the latest versions of ChatGPT as well as Bing Chat. However, the OpenAI GPT family of AI models is just one of many language models. Anthropic's AI Claude is a language model with similar capabilities to GPT-3, but it has one key advantage over the all-new GPT-4 Turbo: maximum token length

The token length is the amount of information you can give to the AI. It describes the maximum length of a request you can give to the network so that it can transform and produce output. After all, that's what these models do - take input data, interpret it according to the data obtained from their training, and then produce output information that is converted into intelligent output data

“Tokens” are the fundamental unit of text processed by the model. This could be a word, part of a word, punctuation mark, or even a space. The original GPT-4 had a maximum length of 8192 tokens, which was considered impressive at the time of release. The recently released GPT-4 Turbo has a maximum token length of 128,000 tokens, but even that huge number is dwarfed by Anthropic's new Claude 2.1, which can accept 200,000 tokens in a single request.
