前几天一个有关Merlin Chain的新闻引爆了社区，Merlin Chain 主网发布14天tvl接近20亿，这个数据10分爆炸，超过了3个月的blast。这证明了两个事情：

2、侧面证明了BTC生态的巨大潜力，BTC作为一个万亿市值规模的庞然大物，其生态潜力相对于eth生态，也是几何倍数增长的。

1. Question: BTC has a trillion-dollar market capitalization. How many opportunities does it contain?

回答：单单 ETH 以4千亿美金的市场规模孕育了大概870亿美金的defi市场。可是BTC却没有诞生好的生态产品，没有金融生息。

评价：只要能达到ETH金融生态规模，BTC金融生态将是一个2000亿规模的生态，这里面会诞生多少潜力项目，不言而喻

2、问题：团队规模大概是多少人

Answer: The Merlin Chain team is a large-scale team. The entire development team is about 30 people, and the external cooperation staff is about 30 people, totaling about 60 people.

Evaluation: This scale is similar to the scale of many awesome public chains that I know about on the market. This data mainly shows the team’s optimism for the project. After all, you cannot expect a grassroots team with only two or three people to create a BTC layer 2.

3. Question: Where are the deterministic opportunities for retail investors?

Answer: I think this opportunity is still very clear. I still prefer to calculate this account in a big way and mathematically. When the market value of ETH is between two and three hundred billion US dollars, you will find that the total value of ERC-20 tokens is also between two and three hundred billion US dollars. Today, the market value of BTC is one trillion US dollars, but the total market value of BRC assets may still be Less than $10 billion. From this $10 billion to $1 trillion, there is still 99 times room in between. Of course, I am not saying that this 99 times space will definitely be realized or will be made up in the short term, but the trend and potential itself are actually relatively easy to calculate.

Therefore, I actually think that for retail investors, the most critical thing is the $10 billion in assets within the Bitcoin ecosystem, including Ordinals, Atomics, etc. It is the process from a market capitalization of US$10 billion to gradually catching up to US$1 trillion. It is actually a so-called bull market.

Comment: I agree with the point of view. You may object that you don’t understand, but I only have one sentence: If you don’t understand, just follow it. From the top exchanges and institutions are laying out bt, it can be seen from the ecology that they are here to lay out the future. .

4、问题：后面多轮的空投权重活动，可能会以什么形式去开展

Answer: Merlin Chain activities do not have complicated rules.

 Bitcoin 这边文化我特别喜欢，就是它通过特别简单公平开放的规则，然后让市场去做自由的调控，而不去做规则的限制。

评价：从两个Merlin Chain chain的meme项目就能看出来，项目基本都是采用公平空投的形式，这极大的保证了公平性，不会让活动成为大户游戏。

5. Question: I heard that Merlin Chain’s investor terms are not as friendly to retail investors. How did you convince investors in the end, and what do you pay most attention to when selecting investors?

回答：Merlin Chain获得机构投资，其代币解锁相对于普通用户并不友好。jeff觉得投资机构投资 Merlin Chain 的话，他的想法一定是看重一个长期，因为我们做的是一个 Bitcoin L2。从架构上看，会发现我们更像是一个 Bitcoin 的公链，因为 Bitcoin 本身没有智能合约，所以要做一个 Bitcoin 的公链，长期建设生态和 Dapps，那很自然它一定是一个 5 到 10 年的事。

评价：这确实颠覆传统web3项目的投融资规则，对于web3项目是革命性的。普通用户不再是机构的接盘工具！！

6、问题：Merlin Chain 建设社区有没有什么经验可以分享

回答：Merlin Chain swap 有一个空投，给这些所有的早期参与者去免费空投一个币，有一些说没有拿到这个快照。所以官方就是说保证全部会承担 Gas 去空投掉，并且如果这个最后的量超了，因为没有快照到，官方也会去市场上回购后去空投。

包括在 BRC-420 发布当天，网站比较卡，导致很多人打废了。如果按照 Bitcoin 网络的历史上，所有的项目都不会去退这个 Gas，因为 Gas 是支付给矿工的。但因为当时我们网站比较卡，在第一时间十分钟内就发了个推特说所有打废的我们都会退全部的钱以及 Gas。那当时我们第一天就退了几十万出去。

评价：对于社区来说，把社区当自己人，把用户当自己人，坦诚面对问题，站在用户角度解决问题，其实获得用户的认可并不难！
