For SAND, which is the token of Sandbox, a Metaverse project, there is a token expansion of $ 94 million. 209 million units of SAND will be put into circulation on February 14. This number of tokens corresponds to a large part of the total supply, such as 10 percent.
Apart from these tokens, SUI tokens worth $ 52.9 million will be included in the system on February 3 and Optimisim tokens worth $ 77 million will be included in the system on February 29.
There will be very important and big lock openings in cryptocurrency projects in February. The total value of the expansion also exceeds $ 900 million.
A $339 million expansion is coming in AVAX
According to the information received from Token Unlocks, the biggest clay expansion of this month will take place on AVAX, Avalanche's own token. On February 22, 9.5 million tokens will be put into circulation. Despite this huge expansion in AVAX, the number of tokens to be released accounts for only 2.6% of the total supply.
After AVAX, the biggest unlocking of the month will be in Aptos. 24.8 million APT tokens worth $229 million will be unlocked on February 11. The ratio to the supply here is also around 7%.
