#MyFirstFeedPost Major fraud operation in the cryptocurrency market.. and the arrest of the founder of one of the crypto platforms 22.01.2024 US authorities arrested Horst Giesa, founder of the cryptocurrency company "USI Tech", and accused him of being involved in an international fraud scheme and stealing nearly 150 million dollars. According to a statement recently released by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Giesa, a 64-year-old German citizen, is accused of operating the cryptocurrency company "USI Tech" as a multi-level marketing (MLM) scheme, falsely promising investors high returns through cryptocurrency investments.
The charges, which include securities fraud, conspiracy to commit securities fraud, online fraud, and money laundering, were revealed when Giesa was arrested while attempting to vacation in Miami, Florida, #btcoin #ABT on December 23, 2023.
