CZ warned about new attacks from North Korean hackers

🕐 Binance founder Changpeng Zhao addressed crypto projects with a warning: North Korean hackers have intensified their activities and are using increasingly sophisticated methods.

🔑 Four main tactics:

1️⃣ Fake candidates — submit resumes for vacancies in IT, finance, and security.

2️⃣ Traps during interviews — send malicious "updates" and "code samples".

3️⃣ Attacks through support — disguise themselves as clients and provide infected links.

4️⃣ Bribing employees — attempt to gain access through insiders.

💬 "These hackers are creative and patient. Companies must strengthen candidate checks, conduct training, and prohibit the upload of unverified files," emphasized CZ.

📉 According to Google Cloud, in 2025 alone, North Korean groups stole cryptocurrencies worth $1.6 billion. Total losses over the decade are estimated in the billions of dollars.

➡️ Funds, according to experts, are going to finance the regime's nuclear program.
