🚨P2P SCAM ALERT FOR PAKISTANI TRADERS! ⚠️
a crucial warning based on my recent experience with a P2P scam on Binance. Don't be the next victim. 💸
My trade was for 700 USDT (PKR 205,000). The transaction seemed smooth, the funds were sent, and I released the crypto. But 10 days later, my bank account was blocked! 🚫 The reason? A “chain dispute” filed against the transaction. My bank refused to provide details, leaving me in the dark. 🤯
What You Must Know:
Third-Party Payments: The scammer used a different bank account to send the funds, creating a legal mess for me. This is the #1 red flag!
Banking Secrets: Banks often lack transparency. They won’t give you full details, making it impossible to defend yourself without proper evidence.
🛡️ Lessons to Protect Yourself
My mistake became a lesson for all of us. Follow these simple rules to stay safe:
NEVER ACCEPT 3rd-PARTY PAYMENTS. ❌ Always verify that the sender's bank account name matches their Binance-verified name.
Use a Dedicated Account. 🏦 Have a separate bank account only for P2P trading to isolate risk.
Withdraw Funds ASAP. 🏃♂️ Transfer money out of your P2P account as soon as you can to prevent a fund freeze.
Document EVERYTHING! 📸 Keep screenshots, CNIC copies of the buyer (if available), and all chat records.
Know Your Legal Rights. ⚖️ Don't hesitate to report the crime to the FIA Cyber Crime Wing with all your evidence.
P2P can be profitable, but scams are on the rise. Be vigilant, trust no one, and remember: your diligence is your best defense. Stay safe out there!
