What is$ZEC #Zcash
Zcash was developed in 2016 based on Bitcoin's code, but with additional features to enhance privacy.
It uses zk-SNARKs technology, which is a zero-knowledge proof technique that allows for the validation of transactions without revealing any information about the sender, receiver, or the amount of money being transacted.
Zcash provides the option to use "shielded addresses" (addresses with the prefix "z") for private transactions, in addition to "transparent addresses" (addresses with the prefix "t"), which operate like Bitcoin addresses.
