Speaking of Succinct, I have really been impressed by it recently!

1️⃣ Personal experiences and intuitive feelings about Succinct

As someone who has been in the blockchain industry for many years, I have seen too many projects shouting about 'revolutionary breakthroughs,' but very few have truly caught my eye. Succinct definitely counts as one.

Let me start with the most intuitive feeling. Do you know that kind of feeling? It's like you have been using old-fashioned dial-up internet, and suddenly someone installs fiber optic broadband for you — that's how I felt when I first learned about Succinct.

2️⃣ The problems Succinct solves and its technological innovations

What problem is it actually solving?

In simple terms, while zero-knowledge proof (ZK) technology is powerful, it has a high threshold for ordinary developers. It's like wanting to make fried rice, only to find out you need to first learn how to raise chickens and grow rice. What Succinct is doing is making this complex process as simple as 'buying a fried rice meal package.'

What left a strong impression on me is their SP1 virtual machine. As someone who has been tortured by various complex ZK development tools, seeing SP1 allow developers to write zero-knowledge proof programs directly in Rust really gave me the feeling of 'finally, someone understands our pain.'

What's even more impressive is that they have built a decentralized proof network. Imagine, previously generating a ZK proof required setting up a bunch of expensive GPU clusters, but now you just need to click a button, and computing resources from around the world can serve you. Isn't this the perfect embodiment of the sharing economy in the blockchain field?

From a technical perspective, what impresses me the most about Succinct is their understanding of the word 'simplicity.' The word 'Succinct' itself means 'concise and brief,' and what they are doing is making complex ZK technology simple and easy to use.

3️⃣ Market validation, breakthroughs, and future prospects

Their achievements are also quite telling. They already have 35+ partners, managing a total locked value of 4 billion dollars. Renowned projects like Polygon, Celestia, and Avail are all using their technology. This is not hype; this is real market validation.

What excites me the most is their recently achieved real-time Ethereum proof. Completing the proof of a mainnet Ethereum block in 12 seconds is absolutely a historic breakthrough in the ZK field!

As someone who has personally experienced the transformation of blockchain from a 'geek toy' to 'mainstream technology,' I feel that what Succinct is doing could very well be a key step toward large-scale applications of ZK technology.

It reminds me of early cloud computing services. Before AWS appeared, every company had to buy their own servers and set up data centers. And now? With just a few clicks, you can access global computing resources. Succinct is doing the same thing for ZK proofs.

Of course, competition in this field is fierce. Risc Zero, Polygon zkEVM, and StarkWare are all strong competitors. But I think Succinct's advantage lies in their true understanding of developers' pain points and addressing these issues in the most direct way.

At the end of the day, the value of technology lies not in its complexity, but in how simply it can solve complex problems. From this perspective, Succinct's 'simplicity' is not just a name, but their core philosophy.

This makes me more optimistic about the future of blockchain. When ZK technology becomes as simple as calling an API, we will see an explosion of innovative applications. Privacy protection, cross-chain interoperability, AI verification... these concepts that previously only existed in white papers are becoming a reality.
