Seazen, one of the leading Chinese real estate developers, is innovating the sector with the launch of real asset tokenization (RWA), converting resources into digital tokens tradable on the blockchain.
The company has established the Seazen Digital Assets Institute in Hong Kong, a new entity dedicated to developing and coordinating initiatives related to tokenization, such as the transformation of intellectual property resources and income streams into tokens.
This move aligns Seazen with Hong Kong's advanced digital policies and aims to enhance the liquidity of real estate assets, including the launch of NFT products linked to its Wuyue Plaza shopping centers. The financially strong group also aims to issue tokenized bonds, with the goal of attracting new investors and reducing financing costs, marking a step forward in the Chinese real estate market that has been in liquidity crisis since 2021.
