🔴#SUPER COOL: THE U.S. GOVERNMENT "PUTS GDP ON THE BLOCKCHAIN - UNPRECEDENTED TRANSPARENCY! 🔴

During the cabinet meeting on 26/8/2025, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick announced that the Department of Commerce will begin releasing economic data — starting with GDP — on the blockchain, in order to enhance transparency and allow the entire government to access and use this data. He said:

“The Department of Commerce is going to start issuing its statistics on the blockchain because you are the crypto president … we are going to put the GDP on the blockchain so people can use the blockchain for data distribution.”

He stated that this is just the beginning — data will be expanded to the entire government once the technical details “are being ironed out.”

📌 NOTEWORTHY:

- This is the first time a federal agency has officially released economic data (such as GDP) on the blockchain — a groundbreaking step in how the U.S. Government publishes and protects data.

- More transparency: Data stored on the blockchain will be hard to modify or manipulate, creating greater trust.

- Political and technological momentum: Aligns with the Trump administration's blockchain-friendly policy framework — such as the “Deploying American Blockchains Act of 2025” waiting to be passed, ensuring the role of the Department of Commerce in developing national blockchain policy.

- While many details remain uncertain: It is unclear which blockchain will be used, how implementation will occur, and when the announcement will begin. But the message about transparency is clear.

Prepare yourselves: This is a stepping stone for a future of “public data 24/7”. The U.S. is making a big move, and this future… may already be starting!
