#BTC 🏦 On Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he will soon have a majority of his nominees on the Federal Reserve Board, which will help him implement his desire to lower interest rates. His remarks came during a government meeting just hours after he took the unprecedented step of firing Lisa Cook, a board member appointed by former President Joe Biden.
• Trump noted that he had previously appointed two of the seven members of the board and is preparing to appoint a third to replace Adriana Kugler, who announced her intention to resign.
• He added: "Once we have the majority, the housing sector will move significantly... people are paying very high interest, and that is our only problem, we need to lower the rates a little."
