The probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates in September has dropped to 71.5%

According to Mars Finance, the CME 'FedWatch' indicates that the probability of the Federal Reserve maintaining interest rates in September is 28.5%, while the probability of a 25 basis point rate cut is 71.5%.

Previously reported, the number of initial unemployment claims in the U.S. for the week ending August 16 was 235,000, expected to be 225,000, with a previous value of 224,000.
