On the night of August 3, 2025, a figure was quietly rewriting the history of Chinese exploration in space. You would never guess that this person is Sun Yuchen, who usually thrives in the business world. When 'New Shepard' carried him through the night, an unusual journey began, and he became the youngest Chinese commercial astronaut in history.

Previously, no one could associate him with space. But when he put on that white spacesuit, the anticipation hidden in his eyes made people curious about what he was about to accomplish. The lights of the launch base flickered, as if concealing some secret. The rocket suddenly ignited, with a tremendous thrust propelling the spacecraft upward, piercing through layer after layer of clouds, and everything on the ground became smaller and smaller, as if it was about to vanish from view.

The moment the spacecraft crossed the Kármán line and entered space, everything around suddenly became terrifyingly quiet. A strange sensation washed over him, his body felt light, as if weightless, swaying inside the cabin. This was not the most surprising part; when he looked out the porthole, the sight before him was enough to take anyone's breath away. He realized that the Earth actually looked like this.

The blue ocean and white clouds intertwine, drawing a clear arc, which is a unique sight of the Earth, yet very few have the chance to see it with their own eyes. In this vacuum, the stars are so close that it feels like you could reach out and touch them, completely different from what we see on the ground. He quickly grabbed his camera, as if afraid that all of this would suddenly disappear.

The return to the ground went relatively smoothly, as the parachute opened like a large umbrella, safely bringing the spacecraft back to Earth. When the hatch opened, Sun Yuchen smiled and made a 'V' sign, but the shock in his eyes couldn't hide the impact of that space journey.

What does this flight mean for Sun Yuchen? And what thoughts will the things he saw in space bring to us? Perhaps, this is just the beginning.
