Another great innovation and achievement by scientists. The FDA has approved VIZZ, LENZ Therapeutics’ aceclidine-based eye drops, as the first non-surgical treatment for presbyopia.
The drops improve near vision within 30 minutes, lasting up to 10 hours, by tightening the iris to create a “pinhole effect” without affecting distance vision. Side effects are generally mild. Free samples are set for October 2025, with wider availability later that year.
So if you are carrying around the vision glasses for reading, in few months, that problem is over.
