$Jager Dead Address Tax Burn (August 13, 2025)
Overview: The source code of JAGER now automatically collects and burns tax rewards from inactive exchange addresses, permanently removing tokens from circulation.
This update focuses on “dead addresses” (such as exchanges that cannot receive user rewards) like MEXC and CoinEx. Rewards in $JAGER will be burned directly, while $JAGERBNB rewards will be converted into BNB, used to buy back and burn $JAGER. The development team has made the source code of the burning mechanism public for the community to review.
Significance: This is positive news for JAGER as it promotes a deflationary mechanism, reduces sell pressure from unclaimed rewards, and increases transparency. Burning tokens helps narrow the supply, while the public source code builds trust in the project.
