WalletConnect is very convenient, but security always comes first. Every dApp you connect to is a potential authorization. Remember these three golden rules to protect your assets:

1. Regularly check and clean up Active Sessions

Your wallet has a list of 'Connected Sites' or 'Sessions.' This records all the dApps you have connected with WalletConnect.

Action: Regularly check this list and decisively click 'Disconnect' for dApps that you no longer use or trust. It's as important as logging out of a website account!

2. Carefully verify each signature request

After connecting, the dApp will send transaction or message requests to your wallet for signing. Don’t click 'Approve' blindly!

Verification: Take a good look at what operation you are authorizing. Is it a Transfer? Or is it Approving a contract to spend your tokens? Ensure the request content matches your expected operation.

3. Beware of phishing websites and fake QR codes

Scammers create websites that look exactly like legitimate dApps. Once you scan a fake QR code and authorize, your assets are in danger.

Prevention: Always access dApp websites from official channels (like official Twitter, Discord), and carefully check if the URL spelling is correct.

Security starts with habits. Spend a few seconds checking to save yourself endless troubles in the future. @WalletConnect #WalletConnect $WCT
