Yesterday's spike left many people with nothing!
I opened over eight long positions, and yesterday the actual drawdown was only over three hundred U, I only had one position forcibly closed, and similarly, my long positions wouldn't be liquidated?
This is because I simulate calculations before opening a position!
Many people open positions randomly, thinking a few times leverage is enough, and they open as large a position as they have money! There is no planning at all!
Next, I will share a little trading tip: how to calculate before opening a position!
When you are optimistic about a coin and believe it will rise, the first thing to do is to look at the fundamentals. Whether it's news from your friends or recommendations from KOLs, you must first look at the fundamentals and not blindly follow the trade!
How to look at the fundamentals? I've shared this in the previous trading tips, so I won't repeat it!
After AI provides analysis, for coins older than six months, first look at their support levels, while for this year’s new coins, first check where their previous lows are!
Let's take $RESOLV as an example:
We can see that the strong support level given by AI is at 0.15507, so our strong liquidation price for opening a position cannot be lower than 0.15507!
His previous low was 0.1284, and considering there is an expectation for an upward movement, we don't need to look at the previous low as it won't be reached in time!
Next is the calculation before opening a position. Binance does not display the liquidation price when opening a position with isolated margin, but it provides calculation software, which is located at the top right corner of the opening page!
Click +/= to open the calculation software:
I open positions in two situations: one is chasing orders, and the other is waiting for orders!
Let's take $RESOLV as an example.
The current price is 0.17, I think there are recent favorable factors, but I don't know when the good news will be realized? The market is also fluctuating, and there was a spike yesterday?
I'm worried that buying in will lead to a drop, yet I'm also afraid of missing out on good news.
Then I will use three times leverage to enter a large position!
As shown in the figure below:
Through calculations, you basically have a bottom line in mind, and adjust the amount based on your position size. This way, if you chase in, it won't likely liquidate my position!
In fact, I rarely chase orders; I usually wait for orders! Unless I am very confident!
I also do not recommend everyone to chase orders!
Setting orders is simple, just place them near strong support levels, a few points above the support level.
I usually have a five times leverage on my orders, sometimes I will have 20 times depending on the situation, but I can hold five times leverage for a long time, while for 20 times, I sell as soon as it rises a bit!
The choice of leverage also depends on the size of your funds. Small funds mean big bets, while large funds mean small bets. I am conservative; I would rather earn less than lose money!
The calculation software is very useful; I often calculate on it, and through calculations, I reasonably adjust my position!
Maximize your profits!
In contract trading, theory is theory, and practice is practice.
In actual trading, there are many special situations that require adaptability, but remember two points: don’t go all in, and don’t rush!
The cryptocurrency market is never short of black swans; there isn't a single good player among the manipulators. If you think you have a lot of bullets with your entire position, you won't get liquidated.
The manipulator will eventually let you know what it means to have no lower limit when falling and no ceiling when rising!
Chasing highs and cutting losses always leads to one outcome, which is forced liquidation!
During a bull market, there are often spikes; don't rush, be patient, and focus on one coin. First, set an order to buy; if you can't get it, it's okay, don't chase it, just look for the next one!
This circle is never short of projects; new projects are generated every day!
