The peak Bitcoin hashrate reached an all-time high of approximately 1.222 zettahashes per second (ZH/s) on June 30, 2025, at block 903,347.

More specifically, this is equal to 1,222 exahashes per second (EH/s), which represents the total computational power used for mining Bitcoin at that time. Earlier in July 2025, the hashrate was reported slightly lower at around 942.96 EH/s but was rapidly climbing towards and beyond previous peaks.
