Babies, I really need data as motivation to keep sharing.

1. Economic Data:

The CPI data on Tuesday, August 12 at 8:30 PM is the most important data this week, determining the market's hype over interest rate cut expectations. In short: meeting expectations and being below expectations is favorable. Exceeding expected data is unfavorable; see expected data in the figure below.

Q: What is the US CPI data?

A: Consumer Price Index.

In simple terms: Measures inflation/deflation

* If CPI continues to rise, it indicates that inflation is occurring (money is losing value, purchasing power is declining).

* If CPI continues to decline, it indicates deflation (prices are generally falling, and the economy may have downside risks).

Core CPI data excludes food and energy because food and energy are seasonally affected, so core CPI better reflects inflation issues.

2. Recent BTC ETH CME (Futures) Gaps:

ETH 4098-4230 2853-2925

BTC 118405-119110

3. Trade and Geopolitical Issues

1. The third round of trade negotiations between China and the US has not yet confirmed the extension of the 90-day tariff suspension; Trump has not signed.

2. The US and Russia will meet in Alaska on August 15 to discuss the Russia-Ukraine ceasefire issue.

4. Market Overview

I feel there’s not much to say over the weekend, a slight floating loss of $LINK , 20% is not a big problem, I remain optimistic, and will scale in on dips. I will decide whether to set a stop loss once the US stock market opens.

5. Casual Talk

Michael Saylor posted on the evening of August 10 at 19:07 that if you do not stop buying Bitcoin, you will not stop making money. This implies MicroStrategy may increase its BTC holdings again.

I finally feel more mature in this round of the market compared to last year, documenting my growth; the market is born in despair, missed in hesitation, and ends in celebration ✔️

People are still hesitating, watching the greed index at 62, and there’s not much FOMO.

Prices are illusory; what is speculated is the expectation space, because you have seen low-priced chips, you are unwilling to buy at the current price.

You look at the past, while institutions look at the future; institutions see future prices and think the current chips are free money.

Let me win once.
