On July 6, 2025, the Bitcoin network reached a new historical peak of 955.75 EH/s (exahashes per second), driven by the expansion of mining infrastructure from companies such as Marathon Digital and Bitfarms.
Shortly thereafter, reports indicated that the seven-day average had climbed to around 952.5 EH/s, surpassing the previous record of June of approximately 943.6 EH/s.
