& Putin to Meet in Alaska for Ukraine Peace Talks 🤝🕊️
A major diplomatic moment is set for August 15 — U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet in Alaska to discuss ending the war in Ukraine.
🇺🇸🇷🇺 According to Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov, talks will focus on a long-term peaceful resolution to the conflict, now in its 3.5th year.
Trump hinted earlier that both sides, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, are close to a ceasefire deal — one that may involve territorial exchanges.
🗣️ “There’ll be some swapping of territories to the betterment of both,” Trump told reporters.
If successful, this could mark the biggest breakthrough in the Ukraine war since it began.
