AI ecosystem closed-loop three-piece set: SDK, Hyperion, LazAIHyperion, as an Optimistic Rollup, inherits the security model of Metis and Optimism, mainly innovating in parallel computing, data availability, and decentralization, focusing on optimizing AI and high-frequency application scenarios. Metis promotes ecological construction through three major systems: Metis SDK, Hyperion, and LazAI. Hyperion introduces a parallel execution engine, adopting optimistic concurrency control and dynamic DAG scheduling algorithms, enabling independent transactions in the same block to run simultaneously, greatly improving throughput. Its decentralized sequencer is jointly responsible for transaction sequencing by a multi-node network. The specific mechanism includes rotating leaders and a cryptographic memory pool combined with proposer-builder separation to prevent front-running transactions and centralized intervention. In terms of data availability, Hyperion plans to make full use of Ethereum's new features and external DA services. With the advancement of Ethereum's EIP-4844, Hyperion and Andromeda will directly publish transaction data to L1 through blob transactions, inheriting Ethereum's security and reducing costs. Metis is also preparing to integrate EigenDA. Hyperion continues to adopt the optimistic model, but has been upgraded in fraud proofs. It adopts an interactive error correction mechanism: after the sequencer publishes a new block, "observers" in the network have a window period (e.g., 7 days) to submit challenges to prove the block is invalid. If the challenge is successful, the malicious block will be rolled back and the responsible party will be punished. In terms of AI native infrastructure, Metis SDK allows users to build their own L2 or L3 blockchains, integrating an upgraded version of EVM (MetisVM) and parallel processing capabilities, equipped with a decentralized sequencing mechanism. Hyperion is a high-performance AI-specific Layer2 built with this SDK, combining Optimistic Rollup, parallel execution, and distributed sequencing to achieve near real-time transaction confirmation and on-chain AI reasoning. MetisVM improves transaction efficiency by approximately 30% through dynamic optimization of opcodes and parallel execution mechanisms. MetisDB uses memory-mapped Merkle trees and concurrency control to achieve nanosecond-level state access, almost eliminating storage bottlenecks. The combination of these technologies allows Hyperion to directly run AI reasoning tasks such as large language models (LLM) on the chain, laying a solid foundation for AI contracts. In terms of AI narrative project incubation, Metis is actively incubating AI-related projects, such as the LazAI protocol.
