I have been involved with BTC for many years. At first, like most people, I would just buy and wait. I would get excited when the price went up and pretend not to see it when it went down. But gradually, I realized that this 'passive waiting' was wasting too much potential.
🧐 Another way to play with BTC
A few months ago, I started trying to place BTC into a system where it could 'move,' transforming it from merely a tool of price fluctuation to an asset capable of generating cash flow.
The first step was to convert BTC into a 1:1 pegged certificate on-chain, with reserves that can be traced throughout the chain. The significance of this step is that it retains the core value of BTC while allowing it to be utilized in more financial scenarios.
🌍 Three uses that amazed me
1. Real-world asset (RWA) integration
• Direct participation in an asset pool linked to USD short-term bonds and fund notes, which are very stable in traditional markets, with an annualized return of 4%-5%.
• Returns and coin prices are not strongly correlated; stable inflows can occur even in bear markets.
2. On-chain staking network
• Integrate BTC into the staking mechanism to earn settlement returns daily, as if arranging a part-time job for BTC.
• Flexible entry and exit, not affecting redemption at any time.
3. Combination strategy vault
• Part of the funds directed towards DeFi market-making, arbitrage, protocol staking, and other multi-strategy combinations. While the returns fluctuate somewhat, there is good appreciation potential in the long run.
🛡 Why I think it’s feasible
• Safe and transparent: The flow of funds and reserve status can be traced throughout the process, backed by third-party audits.
• High flexibility: Can always revert back to native BTC without being locked up for a year or so.
• Diversified risk: Income sources are diverse and do not rely on a single market condition.
📅 My experience
In the past, during bear markets, I could only watch as BTC prices remained stagnant or fell, my mindset being repeatedly tortured. Now, even when the market is quiet, my BTC is still generating returns, making the holding process easier and providing more security.
When the bull market returns, these returns will amplify alongside the coin price, resulting in quite a remarkable effect.
Summary
BTC doesn't have to be valuable only when it rises; it can be an active engine for your wealth growth. When placed in the right context, it continuously creates value in any market condition.
Perhaps your next step is not to continue hoarding BTC, but to learn how to make it work for you.@Solv Protocol #btcunbound $SOLV
