Trump: No tariffs for China on Russian oil purchases for now

Recently, the United States announced additional tariffs on Indian goods, citing India's purchase of Russian oil as a reason for punishment. The U.S. also threatened to impose secondary tariffs on Chinese goods imported to the U.S. due to their purchase of Russian oil. According to a Reuters report on the 16th, U.S. President Trump stated on the 15th, after meeting with Russian President Putin, that there are currently no plans to impose tariffs on China for purchasing Russian oil. After concluding his meeting with Putin in Alaska, Trump told a Fox News reporter that, given the circumstances of the meeting, he would not consider imposing tariffs on China for buying Russian oil at this time.
