Israel & Egypt Seal Record-Breaking $35 Billion Natural Gas Deal 🚨

In the largest energy agreement in Israel’s history, Israel and Egypt have signed a $35 billion natural gas export deal. The agreement will see 130 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas supplied from Israel’s Leviathan field to Egypt until 2040.

The deal will roll out in two phases:

Phase 1 (2026) — Delivery of 20 bcm after pipeline upgrades.

Phase 2 — Remaining 110 bcm, dependent on Leviathan expansion and a new pipeline via Nitzana.

This landmark pact strengthens regional energy ties and positions both nations as key players in the global gas market.
